Why Taxi Firms Choose Cabica
Independent taxi and private-hire firms come to Cabica for the same two reasons, again and again: the bill, and the support. A published price with no commission and no minimum term, and people who answer and build what they ask for.
Here are the facts you can check, and four firms, in their own words, on why they moved. Who we are and how we work is on the About page.

Four Firms That Switched
Every one of them moved for cost or support, not for a missing feature.
We came over from TaxiCaller, and honestly the cost was the main reason. What surprised us was how quickly Cabica built what we asked for — flag trips for street pickups and a meter reset for our drivers. And with the Cabica Admin app we can check on the cars from our phones instead of being stuck in the office.
We had a really rough time with Data Master and then TBMS, so switching again was not something we took lightly. Cabica now runs our dispatch and all of our bookings, and day to day everything runs so much smoother. The support has made the difference — when we need something, it gets sorted. Very happy, thank you.
Autocab was costing us far too much for a firm our size. With Cabica we have dispatch, our own passenger app and a new booking website all working together, and we are paying a lot less for it. Everything is in one place now.
We have been at both ends of the market. iCabbi is a proper enterprise system, with the price to match. TBMS was cheap, but it felt years behind. Cabica is the first system we have used that gives us enterprise features without the enterprise bill.
Only on Cabica
As of 26 October 2026, Cabica Driver is, to date, the one and only iPhone taxi driver app whose meter floats over Google Maps, Waze and any other app. Drivers navigate with the map they trust and still see the fare. How the floating meter looks on iPhone.
Worked On Every Week
Most of what we ship starts as a request from a firm on Cabica: flag trips and a meter reset for A1 Cabs, the night tariff that switches itself on for Worcester Cabs, chauffeur services for a chauffeur company. We write down what changed every month.
What’s new in October 2026When We’re Not the Right Choice
We would rather lose a sale than win the wrong customer:
- You run one to six cars part-time: a per-vehicle plan will probably cost less than our £100 Starter.
- You need a specific integration we do not have. Ask us first, but an enterprise platform may already have it.
- You want hardware. We do not sell in-car data heads, meters or tablets; the driver app runs on the driver’s own phone.
- Your corporate clients want to log in and manage their own accounts. Invoices and statements come from your office.
